About us

We developed Memory Angel following a discussion with a colleague. He had a mother who was in the early stages of dementia. He called her a few times each day and visited her many times a week. He is a busy professional and was struggling to cope, but really wanted to maintain contact with his mother and be reassured that she was OK. He looked for a technology solution that would help him, but found nothing. So, we thought we would build it ourselves.

We come from a medical and a technology background and looked to see how we can use technology in a care environment, not to replace caregivers, but to provide them with support when they can't be there.

Memory Angel has been initially launched in New Zealand and is expanding into Australia, China and India.
